Organization Challenge Prep: What You Need to Know Before We Start

Saturday February 9, 2008
I am thrilled that so many of you want to get organized, and I know there are many more who will eventually come around! For those of you ready to get started, I have some good news for you! You have already made a huge accomplishment by declaring that you are ready to get organized! Before we begin the challenge, I will let you know what you should expect:
  • What? One challenge per week.
  • Where? Right here! Every week my blog will provide a new challenge.
  • How? I will challenge you to one organizational goal per week concentrating on one area of your home or life.
  • Why?
  • Why not?! You’ve been disorganized long enough, and I’m not going to let it continue, and neither should you!
Throughout this challenge, you will have the opportunity to leave comments and ask questions. I am not going to let you get discouraged or unmotivated. You are going to get organized!

Before our challenge begins next week, there are a few things that I recommend for you:

  • Make sure you have a box of large garbage bags on hand. Yes, we will be getting rid of things, and yes, you can do it!
  • Having a hard time getting rid of things? Take this quiz to determine your clutter problem
  • Determine which area of your life needs immediate organization attention and leave a comment with that information.
  • Determine what day next week will work best for you to devote 1-2 hours of organization.

Please post any questions or comments prior to our first challenge next week. Be proud of yourself! You are going to get organized once and for all!
