Recently I wrote about how disorganized I became as a result of not utilizing my daily planner. Well, I decided to rise above my shame and admit that it happened
again . I had the pleasure of doing nothing yesterday, meaning no tasks or obligations - or so I thought! As I was drifting off to sleep, I was quickly awaken by the anxious realization that I had forgotten to edit my personal organizing newsletter! The reason I forgot was because I neglected to look at my daily planner. I just assumed that I had a free day. Of course, when I opened my planner today, staring right at me, in big bold letters it read: Edit Newsletter.
This forgotten task clearly reinforced that even when I think I am totally on top of things, and that I don't need any extra help to get organized, I am clearly wrong! I need my planner to record my daily tasks and to do's, and I need to review it on a daily basis to make sure I am accomplishing my tasks and to do's. I firmly believe that everyone can benefit from using a
daily planner/personal organizer . Trust me, I am living proof of the benefits and consequences.
Happy Organizing!
