I ask readers to share their hoarding secrets, and the confessions come pouring in. I hoard jackets, magazines and newspapers. See what your fellow readers are holding onto a little too long.

I have every piece of paper from university: every lecture note, every syllabus, every essay, every exam, etc. I know that it is very unlikely that I will ever need these notes but my binders are very organized and I put a lot of work into those notes. I can't part with them. They take up so much space. I am positive I could find the information on the Internet faster than in my organized notes. I also hoard greeting cards and my toys from childhood. I am trying to donate my stuffed animal collection but my boyfriend and mother keep buying me more as gifts and I don't want to hurt their feelings or seem ungrateful. --Guest Recent Grad
