I'm thinking of doing something pretty radical with the Tupperware collection, and that's storing the containers with the lids on. Crazy, I know! Right now I have all of my different sized containers stacked together, size-by-size, and then I have a long, flatter container when I store the lids horizontally (note: this is how my Mother does this as well so I probably learned it from her).
Stacking them with the tops on would solve two problems:
- I would never have to look for the right lid.
- The cupboard where I store my Tupperware would look neater.
How do you store your tupperware?

Nice replies in return of this question with firm arguments and explaining everything on the topic of
that.
I also store my Tupperware with the lids on,same reason as you.I really dislike having to search for a lid.
I have really been enjoying your articles and getting a more organized home.
Thank-you
I am so happy to hear that I am not the only one who has found that storing Tupperware with the lids on is helpful. Yes, it does take up more space, and someone on the Facebook page basically told me I was crazy–just crazy!–to do this, but they stack neatly and it takes less time to find what you need. ~Elizabeth
i was under the impression that tupperware said not to cover tupperware when storing. anyone remember that?
