I'm sending you into the most enticing area in your home in which to procrastinate: the Living Room. Can you handle it? Let's find out. Your living room, like your bedroom, should be a sanctuary (pretty much your whole home should be, but let's be realistic). Keeping it free of clutter will go a long, long way to creating a relaxing home environment. However, the cadre of electronic equipment and various other enticements (books, magazines, photo albums) will make it harder to stay on task.
Here are a few tips to get you going:
- Set a timer for 10 minutes and work in increments;
- Make sure you have a paper recycling bin ready for mail, magazines and newspapers; and,
- Try playing your favorite music.
