Kent Bookcase three from Pottery BarnOver the next month or so, many people will offer advice on how to stick to your resolutions. I'm only going to offer one tip: use your Daily Routine. Whatever your goal or resolution, work on it every day by fitting it into your routine.

I have always resisted scheduling myself too strictly, but customizing a routine to how I work really helped me get more done each day.  I explain how this works (with the help of some experts), and why you should think about sticking to a daily routine. Over the next several days, we'll go through why you need one, how to build a personalized routine, how to stick to it, and tips and tricks to make it work for you.
