30 Minutes seems like a reasonable amount of time to spend on a home organizing project. I suggest you tackle 1-2 of these projects once a week, in addition to following the Weekly Organizing Routine.
Tips to stay on-task:
- Set a timer for 30 minutes.
- Try not to wander, but to stay in one space at a time so you can check the task off your list.
- Think about how good you'll feel once it's done.
- Don't be distracted by another problem area you spot: you'll get to that once you're done!
