Manage Your Time With A Personal Organizer

From , former About.com Guide

I have used my planner daily since I purchased it several months ago. I often wonder how I got along without it. I use it to keep a number of important information organized:
  • Appointments: I also include directions too – so everything is in one place.
  • Bill due dates : It is helpful to list these days at minimum a week earlier, to avoid late payments.
  • Birthdays: It is so easy to forget friends & family birthdays, but you won’t if you list them.
  • Exercise Schedule: Plan your exercise as an appointment that you must attend. It works!
  • TV Shows: I like to keep track of my favorite shows.
  • Work Hours: Even if you have a set schedule, it still helps to block off that amount of time, or if you are an independent contractor or do freelance work, setting a specific schedule can help organize your time.

Tip: I have found that using pencil is a time-saver, and keeps your planner from looking like a big old mess. How often do appointments and plans change and you need to change them? A Pencil is the best way to adjust to unexpected planner changes.
