Whether you have a large kitchen with an abundance of storage space, or a small kitchen with limited space, there is a benefit to investing in additional storage solutions:
  • Frees up your counter space
  • Maximize your existing space
  • Provide easy access to your items
  • Adds style to your kitchen
That being said, let's get our kitchen organized!

Junk Drawer:
This type of drawer is usually necessary in a kitchen to hold twisties, rubber bands, scissors, matches for candles, pens and paper, just to name a few. First, I advise you to thoroughly go through these items and get rid of any items that do not belong there or that you do not use. If they are in working condition, you can donate them or give them away to friends or family members. The key here is to eliminate the junk, and keep only the things you use! An easy and affordable way to prevent this from becoming the disorganized junk drawer is to consider investing in a drawer organizer .

Food Storage Containers:
Storage containers are an easy solution to storing left-overs in the refrigerator and to maximize the space in your pantry too. Consider eliminating bulky packaging by transferring food items to clear, easy to view food storage containers .

Spice Storage: Whether you are preparing meals on a regular basis or only once in awhile, you most likely use spices, and those spice jars can take up a lot of room! A great option to accommodate and maximize the space is to consider a spice stack that conveniently fits in your upper cabinet, or a wall-mounted spice rack .

Bakeware and Tray Holders: These items can be a challenge to organize because they take up a lot of space, they can be hard to reach, and usually when you remove one piece, the rest of them fall over like dominoes. We can easily rectify this situation by utilizing bakeware and tray holders . You can either conceal it on your countertops, or I would recommend storing it in your lower cabinets, to free up counter space.

Wine Bottles and Stemware Storage: Often times wine bottles and wine glasses are stored separately, due to lack of space, but there are other options. You could consider storing them together in a stylish wall-mounted wine and glass rack . This is a great way to showcase your style and tastes that is both functional and affordable.

Pots and Pan Storage: A great way to keep your pots and pans within reach and to maximize your space is to consider a pot rack . Another option is to store them in your lower cabinets using roll-out storage to provide easy access for your pots and pans.

Under Sink Storage: This is a good area to store detergents, soap botles and kitchen cleaning supplies. Organizing around the exposed plumbing is a challenge of the past when you consider an expandable sink shelf . It is affordable, fits around your plumbing and is expandable. This could also work well in your bathroom sink cabinet!

Wrap Storage: Plastic wrap, wax paper, aluminum foil and storage bags can take up a lot of room. This is intended to be a quick and convenient item, and in order to maximize your space while providing easy access, consider using a wrap organizer .

Plastic Grocery Bags: Grocery bags can easily accumulate and turn into a big mess unless we keep them in order by utilizing a bag holder . Another option is storing the bags in a paper shopping bag, but this will take up more room than the bag holders.

Investing in storage products is an easy and effective way to keep you organized. It provides a place for things to go, which is the key to keeping clutter at bay, and it saves you time by not having to search for your items.
The storage products I recommended are solely for your convenience. Since there are so many affordable options available, it is worth taking the time to find the product that fits your needs and budget.
