Since most kitchen cabinets already come equipped with shelves, it isn't necessary to purchase organizational supplies if you follow these tips:
  • Keep Like Items Together: Keep bowls stacked together, plates stacked together, glasses and mugs for example.
  • Keep Regularly Used Items Accessible: Reaching those high shelves can be challenging. Therefore, keep items that you use on a regular basis towards the lower, easier to reach shelves.
  • Store Seasonal Items: Unless you have ample cabinet space, store your seasonal items such as holiday plates and serving pieces to make room for everyday items.
