Organize & Display Greeting Cards in a Photo Album

From Dena Pasis, for About.com

I love this photo album! I received it as a gift from a dear friend on my birthday.

As I am getting organized for an upcoming move, I am trying to simplify the existing items I am bringing. I included my favorite photo album that is currently filled with memorable photos of family and friends. I came across greeting cards that are equally as memorable, and I wondered how I could store greeting cards in my photo album, especially because the sleeves only held photos up to 4" x 6", and my greeting cards all exceeded those dimensions.

I was certain that I did not want to make any additional purchases, and I wanted to utilize my existing storage. Therefore, I decided to staple greeting cards onto the photo album pages. I placed the staples on the inside of the card, so I would be able to freely open and close the greeting cards. Although the cards aren't as protected as the photos are in their individual sleeves, I successfully accomplished my organization task, and it only took a matter of minutes . I am very pleased with the results!
