Whether you are labeling files, storage boxes or food items (just to name a few of the many options), the DYMO Personal Labelmaker is an affordable investment that will help you easily identify your items, save you time and add creativity to your organizing projects. The only drawback is the sudden compulsion to label everything .

I love labels! Up until recently, all my labels were created on the computer which had its benefits and drawbacks. The biggest drawback being that it was time consuming. The DYMO Personal Labelmaker is not only a time-saver, it is very easy to use - I didn't even have to consult the manual. I was also impressed by the variety of labels that are available - paper, plastic, metallic, magnetic, iron-on and color choices. Another great feature is the easy peel off backing which is unlike labels of the past where you struggled to get the back off. The backing folds in the middle and peels off easily and quickly in two sections which is very clever. Finally, I like the fact that there are a variety of font styles and sizes, including borders and symbols which makes it very versatile.

My first project consisted of making labels for my expandable file folders. Even though these folders come equipped with label inserts, I used to create mine on the computer which rarely fit correctly in the slots. Instead, I created the labels and attached them to the top of the inserts (rather than inside), which not only looks fantastic, it was much easier than my old method.

Even though there are mixed reviews on the manufacturers website, at this point I can honestly say that I am thrilled with my DYMO Labelmaker. It saves me time, offers many options (styles and colors) and keeps my belongings organized.
