What clothing item or items are the most challenging?
I guess my biggest challenge is shoes and purses. All the different sizes of purses make it a challenge to store them. I have baskets for dress purses and then another basket for larger purses. I also hang cross body bags and shoulder strap on hooks in the closet. Shoes are also a never ending problem. The work shoes are in a shoe rack on wheels in the closet. The dress shoes are in see thru plastic containers in the closet and sneakers or sitting on shelves in the closet. Shoes occupy two different closets.
Tips and Tricks
- I hang each category of clothing in separate sections of the closet (blouses together, jeans together, slacks together, dresses together, suits together and jackets together.) The shelves in my closet hold sweaters. Purses are on the top shelf of the closet and in baskets on the floor. It works for me to a point.
